i REALLY WISH i WAS A BLOW HARD...
mo time for blogging... blew out the rear tire on my bike... AND i WAS miles from the nearest air... and when I filled it.it went flat... after six years I think it might be time for a new tire/tube../.. there goes the beer budget. oh well
A long time ago a friend let me drive his Harley along a lengthy farm road in southern Ontario. I stalled it out and didn't have enough weight to kick-start it again. Pushing that thing was a bitch.
Susan.. whoa... motorcycles scare me... running into solid object on my bike is bad enough.
Ahab, you're right. the kicker is.. it's a 28 speed hybrid-off road... and the flat is on the rear. I will not screw around with the de-railer.. but I need new brake pads and the cables tightened.. time to take it in!!
Randal... I have so much built up character, trying to sell some at a rummage sale next wee.

What a rotten thing to happen, miles from an air pump!
On the bright side, it will be cheaper to fix than something going wrong with a car.
Just think of all the extra character you built!

If you're getting six years out of the tire on a bicycle you actually ride, let me give you the money to buy me a few lottery tickets. :)
