LESS Government regulation?

... just a first step to stop the dissemination of information.... buy "US THE PEOPLE"

... another example of how RepubliCorporates want 'LESS' government regulation.

OK.... first off.... I am not the smartest person in the world.  Never said so.  Never will.
But to me this just smacks of again fixing something that is not really broke.  Will it increase corporate profits?

Corporate$

of course.... in the future I may not be able to post that link.... in the future... you may not be able to even find information on the NET about SOPA or PIPA.... so ... do it now while you can.

in other news....

I agree. Any censorship starts us down a road I have no desire to be on.

you'r right Sherry.

update from the LA Times
"Three co-sponsors of the SOPA and PIPA antipiracy bills have publicly withdrawn their support as Wikipedia and thousands of other websites blacked out their pages Wednesday to protest the legislation.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) withdrew as a co-sponsor of the Protect IP Act in the Senate, while Reps. Lee Terry (R-Neb.) and Ben Quayle (R-Ariz.) said they were pulling their names from the companion House bill, the Stop Online Piracy Act. Opponents of the legislation, led by large Internet companies, say its broad definitions could lead to censorship of online content and force some websites to shut down."

HA! Common sense can be catchy.

They're just afraid they'll lose their porn. Much easier to hide it on the interwebs than in magazines underneath the mattress.

All they are trying to do is give us less to worry about. They really have our best interests at heart.

Just think how much easier it will be to surf the Internets with fewer choices.

We're seeing a good, strong public push-back on this crap, and it's having a positive effect. Let's keep pushing back.
