Down here in the south all sorts of legends have popped up about the cast from the Andy Griffith show. But I've heard over the years George Lindsey was a really great guy.

Like what kind of legends, Don Knotts is actually a poltergeist haunting Charlotte city hall?
I'm glad you posted this— we're big Andy Griffith fans in this house, but I had never read anything about George Lindsey until he passed away. He really was a good guy, wasn't he?
Mayberry was a state of Mind. My favorite was always Floyd the Barber.....his Mind was really quite a state....of something.
